Venerable (Bhante) Cittagutto Mahāthera from Western Lombok, Indonesia. Bhante
was ordained as a novice monk (samanera) in 1988 and became a fully ordained
bhikkhu in 1997. Currently Bhante Cittagutto is the foreign affair leader for Indonesian
Theravadan Buddhist Sangha (STI). Bhante Cittagutto is also the educator of the
Buddhist University (STAB) Kertarajasa, Batu, Jawa Timur province. Bhante Cittagutto
Mahāthera is fluent in both English and Bahasa Indonesia.
